Aesop was an ancient Greek storyteller. He is best known for his hundreds of fables, which gently conveyed moral lessons. Although his name is legendary, there is some question about whether he actually existed.

  1. I am a k-6 library teacher, we have been remote teaching for a few months. Fables is one of the lessons for this week. I used this video for about 15 classes, grades 4-6, very informative. I loved the fact there was focus on Aesop, as well as other Greek figures in history. It helped to "tell the tale" of how stories evolved too. I was very pleased at how excited my sixth graders responded, so many questions. Keep up the good work.
