It is about time to do another resource roundup of interesting things and resources for 2D and 3D digital art so here are a few things I’ve gathered to blog about this month.
I found an interesting video on a workflow process involving turning 2D vectors into 3D models which was used by animators at Marza Animation Planet.
I also noticed there is a new addon on Blender Market for turning images into meshes and curves called Sketch-n-Trace.
Magica CSG now has a free demo version so people can try it without having to do the Patreon.
Wompanother SDF based 3D modeling program is now in Beta out of Alpha.
Substance Painter 2024 released a version that supports Adobe Illustrator file support and has some native text tools.
A new 3D creation software called Uniform is out for iPad users.
Zbrush is developing a version for for ipad. Anyone interested can sign up for the Beta.
Woolly Tools & Shaders has a new update which includes a one click wool felt look for UV mapped 3D models.
The Base Mesh website which is run Tim Steer has had a big re-vamp and lots more free models have been added.
