Back in May I designed and sculpted a bas-relief clock frame design intended for CNC or 3D printing purposes using a 2D to 3D workflow. I then took the base model from that process and sculpted more details into it using ZBrush. I tested a CNC simulation for the model using PixelCNC. Here is how the finished 3D sculpt might look carved in wood with a clock in the frame.
